1. Information We Collect

You can contact GMM through our website in three ways, by telephone, by email, or by completing our enquiry form. We do not take payments through this website, and we do not collect payment or card information.

When you complete our enquiry form, we collect your full name, email address and company name, which are required, and your phone number, company location and any company information you choose to provide, which are optional. If you contact us by email or telephone instead, we collect the information you choose to share with us in that message or conversation, such as your name, contact details and the nature of your enquiry. When you browse the website, we and our service providers may also collect limited technical information through cookies and similar technologies, such as your device type, browser, and how you use the site. This is covered in more detail in our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information, and Our Legal Basis

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to understand how we may be able to help, and to communicate with you about it. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interests, specifically responding to and managing enquiries about our services and the running of our business. Where you have given your consent, for example by accepting non-essential cookies, we use that information to understand and improve how the website performs and to support our marketing. You can withdraw this consent at any time. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Confidentiality

We understand that contacting a restructuring and board advisory firm can itself be sensitive, and that the information you share about your business may be confidential. Any enquiry you make to GMM is treated in the strictest confidence, and your information is only ever used to consider and respond to your enquiry.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not share your personal data with third parties except for the trusted service providers who help us operate our website and business, who process data on our behalf and under our instructions. These include our website host and form provider, our email and office software provider, and our website analytics providers. Where our marketing involves social media advertising, limited website activity data may also be shared with the relevant advertising platform, subject to your cookie consent. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

5. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the appropriate safeguards required by data protection law, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, to ensure your information remains protected.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Where an enquiry does not lead to us working together, we retain the information for a reasonable period and then delete it. Where we do go on to work together, we retain the relevant information for the duration of our engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, regulatory and record-keeping purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, and to have it erased in certain circumstances. You also have the right to restrict or object to how we use it, the right to data portability, and, where we rely on your consent, the right to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details above.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and, where applicable, advertising cookies. Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner when you first visit the site and can change at any time. Full details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data secure and to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
